By creating an account, enrolling on a qualification, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

4. Account information

When you create an account or enrol, you must provide information that is accurate and complete and keep your sign-in details secure. Any qualification-specific eligibility or entry requirements are set out in the relevant handbook and enrolment information.

5. Enrolment and Payment

5.1 Enrolment Process

Enrolment is completed upon successful payment and acceptance of these Terms. Your place is confirmed once payment is received and your account is activated.

5.2 Pricing

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to amend pricing for future enrolments; any price changes will not affect existing enrolments.

5.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

6.1 Cooling-Off Period

Where the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply, you may have a right to cancel within 14 calendar days of purchase. To exercise a right to cancel, notify us in writing via our contact form.

6.2 Digital content and early access

If you ask us to provide digital content or platform access during the cancellation period, we will ask for your explicit consent and acknowledgement that you may lose the right to cancel once the digital service begins, to the extent permitted by law.

6.3 After cancellation rights end

Once any applicable cancellation right has ended, any refund or termination request will be considered under the enrolment terms presented before payment. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

6.4 No money-back guarantee

We do not offer a separate money-back guarantee, satisfaction guarantee or guaranteed refund once any applicable statutory cancellation right has ended. This does not affect your statutory rights, including rights that may apply where services are not provided with reasonable care and skill.

7. Your Obligations as a Learner

You agree to:

  • Submit only your own original work as evidence.
  • Not engage in plagiarism, collusion, or any form of academic malpractice.
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials.
  • Engage respectfully and professionally with assessors, support staff and other users.
  • Not upload malicious files, harmful content, or material that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Complete your qualification within the enrolment validity period.

8. Enrolment Validity

The enrolment period for your selected pathway, and any applicable extension arrangements, are shown in the terms presented before purchase. Any extension request is considered under the applicable enrolment and centre procedures.

9. Assessment and Certification

9.1 Assessment Process

Assessment is portfolio-based. You submit evidence against specified learning outcomes, and your assigned assessor reviews and provides feedback. There are no written examinations.

9.2 Resubmissions

If evidence does not initially meet the required standard, you will receive detailed feedback and the opportunity to resubmit. Further submissions may be made within the enrolment period where allowed by the relevant assessment and centre procedures.

9.3 Certification

Upon successful completion of all required units, VQ Solutions Ltd follows the applicable registration and certification process for the qualification. Leader Study Pro may issue a platform completion record separately. Certificate issuance timelines are determined by the relevant awarding-body process.

10. Post-Nominals

Any membership, designation or post-nominal is separate from enrolment with Leader Study Pro and is not automatic. Eligibility should be checked directly with the relevant professional or awarding organisation.

11. Intellectual Property

11.1 Your Content

Evidence and materials you submit remain your intellectual property. By uploading content, you grant VQ Solutions Ltd a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and share it with assessors solely for assessment and quality assurance purposes.

11.2 Our Content

All Platform content, learning materials, design, branding, and software are the intellectual property of VQ Solutions Ltd or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

12. Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018.

12A. Third-party services

The Platform may use third-party services for authentication, hosting, payments, email, storage, background processing, analytics, embedded video, security, error monitoring and AI-assisted support. These may include providers such as Neon, Stripe, DigitalOcean Spaces, MailerSend, Inngest, Vercel, Cloudflare, Sentry, Plausible, YouTube, OpenAI and GPTZero. Use of these providers does not imply endorsement by them or guarantee a qualification outcome.

You must not upload evidence or personal data that you are not authorised to share. Where workplace evidence contains personal, confidential or commercially sensitive information, you should redact or anonymise it where appropriate before upload.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VQ Solutions Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the Platform or Services. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your enrolment.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Service Availability

The Platform may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, security work or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will take reasonable operational steps to restore access when appropriate.

We are not responsible for outages, changes or restrictions caused by third-party platforms, hosting providers, payment processors, embedded media providers or network/security providers, except where the law says otherwise.

15. Termination and Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in academic malpractice, or behave in a manner that is abusive or threatening towards staff or other users. In cases of termination for breach, no refund will be due.

16. Complaints Procedure

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us. Complaints and appeals are handled under the applicable VQ Solutions Ltd and awarding- organisation procedures. We will provide the relevant procedure or next step where one applies.

17. Changes to These Terms
